Dave Pafford

Executive Director

Dave Pafford is an accomplished ministry and business professional with years of administration, project coordination and leadership development in multiple states.  Mr. Pafford is a salutatorian graduate of North Central University where he also served in student leadership as a Relations Director and Student Body President in 2004. He received a Menlo Park/ John Ortberg Scholarship, attended Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA and holds a Masters in Theology. Dave also holds an M.B.A. from William Woods University. Along with being a Provost for the SEU Ohio Network Campus, Dave serves as the Director of Leader Development and Network Secretary for the Ohio Ministry Network.

Mary Harmison

Ministry Relations & Recruiting Director

Mary Harmison is an outstanding administrator, joining SEU ONC after a season at Ohio University overseeing grant projects for an endowed chair of mathematics education, including the Choose Appalachian Teaching scholarship program for undergraduate students and the Advanced Teacher Capacity professional development program for high school mathematics teachers.  Additionally Mrs. Harmison brings a wealth of ministry, business acumen, and leadership to the campus having created her own businesses and having worked as a teacher and a television broadcast technician at WOUB TV.  A valedictorian of her high school, Rev. Harmison has credentials with the Assemblies of God and has a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Video Production, and Management from Ohio University.

Travis Sheffler

Business Relations & Recruiting Director

Travis Sheffler is a highly adept student services administrator and advisor, with nearly 20 years of work experience in higher education. Not only does Travis possess a wealth of knowledge with respect to student and academic services, he brings with him much in the way of ministry experience and business acumen. He graduated from The College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Business Administration and holds master’s degrees in higher education administration and practical theology from the University of Arizona and Ashland Theological Seminary, respectively.  Between 2010 and 2017, Travis counseled students and managed first-year career programming at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Previously, Travis held various counseling, advising, research, instructional, and program management positions at universities across the country. Prior to pursuing a career in higher education, Travis worked as a financial analyst for a Dow Jones newswire in Washington, DC.

Betsy Wolfe

Betsy Wolfe has a creative and detailed eye for design. She has chosen to use her God-given talent to advance the mission of SEU Ohio Network Campus. Mrs. Wolfe also serves as a graphic designer and as a media specialist for several churches, businesses, and non-profits.

John Acker

English & Humanities

Dr. John Acker received his B.A. from the University of Illinois and his Ph.D. from Ohio State, where he studied the relationship between Christianity and 19th-century American literature. Outside the classroom, Dr. Acker runs an academic editing business under the close supervision of his two cats, Chapter and Draft.

Matt Fink

Theology & Practical Ministry

Matt Fink is an ordained minister who currently serves as Children’s/Assistant pastor at New Life Fellowship Assemblies of God, Dayton. In addition, Matt teaches Bible and coaches Cross Country and Track at a Christian high school. He holds a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries from Central Bible College and an M.A. in Theological Studies from Liberty University.

He and his wife Tami have two young sons, Samuel and Ezra.

David Gross

Theology & Practical Ministry

David Gross is the Lead Pastor, Radiant Life Church, Dublin. He has his B.A. in Bible from Central Bible College, M.A. in English Bible from AGTS, and M. Div. from AGTS. David also formerly served as an Ohio Ministry Network General Presbyter.

Kay Gross

Theology & Practical Ministry

Kay Gross has served as Associate Pastor of Radiant Life Church in Dublin for over 30 years. In addition, she serves as adjunct professor in leadership and pastoral ministries at Bible Colleges and Seminaries throughout Asia.  Previously, she served as Women’s Ministries Director for the Ohio Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God

Kay has a BA in Missions from Southwestern Assemblies of God College, a M.A. in Bible and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership, both from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

Chuck Hedges

Theology & Practical Ministry

Chuck Hedges has thirty-eight years of diverse ministry experience in pastoral, church planting and undergraduate teaching.  He has a proven ability to train, coach and mentor as he cultivates positive and enduring relationships.

Luci Howard

Science & Mathematics

Luci Howard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Education from Western Governors University. She currently teaches mathematics at London High School.

Ron Iden

Business

Ron is a 30-year business management veteran and has helped lead both large and small companies in his tenure. Ron is now semi-retired from the corrugated packaging industry with a current focus on the academic field. Ron holds a Doctorate of Business Administration through Walden University, an MBA with Regis University, and a BBA with Mount Vernon Nazarene University. As a scholar-practitioner, Ron now integrates new information with practical experience to educate the leaders of tomorrow.

Deedra Shilliday

Theology & Practical Ministry

Pastor Deedra Shilliday has a B.S. in Education from Malone University. She has a M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Grace University and a M.A. in Practical Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary. She was an assistant professor at Trinity Bible College, and is currently taking time off as an adjunct professor at Ashland University in order to pursue her Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern University. Her research interests include the Integration of Psychology and Spiritual Formation as well as Women in Early Church History.

David Welle

Theology & Practical Ministry

David Welle, D. Min., presently serves as Pastor for Teaching and Global Impact at Calvary Assembly of God in Willoughby Hills, OH after serving over 18 years as the church’s lead pastor. He is also a Regional Executive Presbyter for the Ohio Ministry Network. Prior to serving at Calvary Assembly he was Lead Pastor of churches in New Jersey and New York State. He is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry) and Vassar College (AB). He and his wife Patricia have three children, Cristin, Jonathan, and Elissa as well as 2 grandsons.

Pastor David loves teaching the Bible and practical theology, which he does in the church and as a professor at Pan Africa Theological Seminary in Lome, Togo, and at the University of Valley Forge, HarvestNet Institute and the Ohio School of Ministry. He has also taught for Malone Graduate School of Theology, Central Bible College and Metropolitan Bible Institute. He enjoys living life to the full by savoring time with his family, running with his dogs, playing guitar, taking nature photographs, skiing, and experiencing the great outdoors.

Jim Wootton

Church Real Estate

Jim Wootton is an author, lecturer, principal, and broker, engaged in commercial real estate brokerage. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and risk management from the finance department of The Ohio State University.

He served as president of the Columbus Real Estate Exchangers, as well as the statewide Ohio Commercial Real Estate Exchangers. He is currently chairman of the Commercial Standard Forms Committee and a member of Commercial Advisory Board for the Columbus Board of Realtors.

Jim Wootton, serving as buyer’s representative for churches, has successfully arranged many major tax-deductible gifts or partial gifts of real estate involving more than $1 million in property each. He is the inventor of patented financial and tax software for determining the feasibility of gifts of real estate to churches.
