This online degree allows a student to take many live classes through the regional campus of Southeastern University in Ohio. The rest of the courses would be online or a student could transfer. Your psychology courses will equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to counsel others in the spirit of Christ. You will learn various theories to explain normal human behavior, behavior that’s not accepted by society and behavior of people as they grow from infants to the mature stages of adulthood

Sample Core Courses
Live Courses — Courses such as general education core and ministry elective courses may be taken live at the Ohio regional campus.
Additional Courses such as Theories of Personality or Social Psychology may be finished online or a student could transfer.
Theories of Personality (PYSC 2133) — This course is an introduction to the study of personality formation. Major personality themes are critically examined. Students are introduced to the application of these theories in counseling and the treatment of mental illness.
Social Psychology (PYSC 3733) — This course is a survey of theories of interpersonal behavior and group dynamics, emphasizing the influence of groups and group membership on individual behavior. Topics include aggression, attitudes, attribution, conformity, altruism, communication, propaganda, morale and other aspects of interpersonal relationships.
